39. Blues Music Awards
Nominierungen
Die Nominierungen für die 39. Blues Music Awards wurden bekannt gegeben. Preise werden neu in 27 Kategorien verliehen. Neu hinzu gekommen sind die Kategorien Instrumentalist Vocal, Rock Blues Artist und Traditional Blues Female Artist. Überflieger dieses Jahres sind die Künstler, die bei Alligator Records unter Vertrag sind. Zehn davon sind für achtzehn Preise nominiert. Die Abstimmung beginnt Ende Januar 2018 und dauert bis zum 1. März 2018. Alle aktiven Mitglieder der Blues Foundation sind stimmberechtigt und werden in den kommenden zwei Wochen die Stimmunterlagen erhalten. Die Verleihung der Preise wird am 10. Mai 2018 im Cook Convention Center in Memphis stattfinden. Dies sind die Nominierungen:
